Boundless Impact was formed to support North Carolina's Global Schools Network, a consortium of school districts and international education organizations ensuring our students graduate with the global competence required in today's workplace. This work is sustained by the NC Department of Public Instruction, in collaboration with partners.
Boundless Impact hosted four statewide "GO Summits" to convene globally-engaged leaders to showcase success stories and accelerate sectors working together to ensure North Carolina leads the nation in global engagement strategies. Outcomes of our GO Summits include a NC Blueprint for Global Engagement and the Global Opportunities Center.
Boundless Impact served as a catalyst for the "GO Center" through building awareness and support via annual Global Opportunities Summits. Our vision, to establish a center for global entrepreneurship that would leverage existing local resources, gained momentum through the GO Center’s first place prize of $500,000 at the Strong Cities, Strong Communities (SC2) Economic Development Challenge. The GO Center launched in January 2016 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with Boundless Impact directing the launch. With additional support from Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation and the Golden Leaf Foundation, the GO Center is a connecting global hub that develops talent for growing businesses in the Triad.
